In 2017 we went to Wyoming with a group of friends to view the total eclipse. The eclipse far exceeded our expectations, and was more profound than I was prepared for, it's something that I will never forget.

After the eclipse we all went up to Cody Wyoming. The guys rode some of the epic mountain passes on their motorcycles, and My friends and I did some exploring.

One of the nights while we were there we went to a rodeo show, then a chuckwagon style dinner and live music show. Out front of the rodeo was a huge brahma bull who you could purchase a ticket to sit on, and a rodeo clown doing fancy rope tricks. I pulled out my phone and got some pictures of both of these attractions, but the rodeo clown really captured my eye. It was a sweet scene of western americana, even though it was set up for tourists, it was no less authentic, and a grand time was had by all. I do believe that they put on this show on a regular basis, we sure did enjoy it.

In this composition I left out the bull and kept the surroundings pretty simple so the focus is on the clown who was doing some pretty cool tricks. This print is printed with black Caligo Safewash ink on Stonehenge paper in kraft color. I printed up an edition of four, this is an open edition, so I may choose to print more in the future.
