This painting was my final assignment for the Figure Painting class taught by Phyllis Shafer of my daughter Michelle, I almost titled it "Fancy Pants", but hey, that can be it's nickname.
At this time we're riding out the Covid 19 pandemic, so we can't hug or be close to each other, I wanted this painting to reflect that, she is a beautiful girl, in a beautiful place, but kept apart.
