My third outing with the Tahoe Art League plein air group. Only one other painter showed up! But we certainly did not have the place to ourselves. This beach was a hub of activity from familys picnicking to scuba lessons and even a wedding.
Sand Harbor is one of Lake Tahoe's most popular beaches, and for good reason. With groupings of rounded boulders of all sizes emerging from crystal clear water. It is great fun to swim, kayak, or paddle board around them.
While painting the morning sun was behind me, creating nice shadows on the rocks, and draping shadows from the trees across the sandy beach. Just another sweet Tahoe day.
