This is the first painting that I did with the Tahoe Art League plein air group.
It was a beautiful sunny summer day and Lake Tahoe sparkled like a jewel as our little group enjoyed a lovely day of painting.
There was only one problem to deal with, the yellow jackets were brutal. They hovered around our faces, landed in our paint and in our paintings. There was no way to stop them so we had to just try to ignore them.
